Everything was amazing! It was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and equipped with everything one could need for an amazing stay in Vienna! 🎵 Not to mention the location—the hotel is situated in one of the best districts of Vienna, District #4 (Wieden). Wieden is a residential area, yet only 10 minutes away from Karlsplatz, the Wien Museum, the Opera, Sacher Bel Etage, and more. Just around the corner from the hotel, you'll find grocery stores (Billa, Spar, Hoffer, Hellenic Market), amazing coffee houses, restaurants, bakeries, and more. The only thing I wish could be improved is the Wi-Fi. I wouldn't mind paying an extra fee for a more stable connection, and perhaps an added layer of security with individual log-ins. Other than that, it's a 10 out of 10 from me! :)

Rebecca at reception was very nice and helpful. Wasim was great and printed off a schedule for the train to the airport. Jerry was always wishing me a good day when I saw him in the lobby. Anja was very kind by answering my questions by email. I appreciated the wake up calls. In the breakfast room Jamel and Thomas were very attentive. Jamel made me sandwiches the day of my departure as I was pressed for time. I had a lovely birthday breakfast with sparkling wine, cake, candles, and even some singing! It was very special to find chocolates on my bed later on. The chambermaids were very cheerful and made the room sparkle. I never ran out of towels, toilet paper, or body gel. Everything was very clean. I loved the giant bathtub : ) I will definitely be returning to the Johann Strauss hotel on my next trip to Vienna!

Hotel receptionosts were very kind and profesional. Location is very convenient if guests are arriving from the airport. In 16 minutes with S7 Airport train one can reach Praterstern metro stop and from there easily transfer to U1 metro line in direction to Reumanplaz. Just after 5 stops guest should exit at Taubstummengasse and withon 3 minutes walk will be in hotel. Rooms are very spacious, clean, bright with huge wndows and good curtains to provide good sleep. It was very quiet and no outside noise can be heard indside the room. If the price will be aceptable I would return to this hotel because I like the location which is less than 15 min walk from the Opera and pedestrian zone and because it is well managed hotel, recently renovated building with very nice staff.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was stylish and not overcrowded. The room was good - the only thing I did not like was the pillow. It was too flat and small. However, I asked for another one and they provided it quickly. I was on the first floor so I had to keep the curtains shut because I coud be seen by the people passing by or living in the building opposite. That was a bit inconvenient. The location is great for both the town centre and the main train station. The area is very pleasant and quiet.

The staff was friendly and helped with restaurant recommendations and arranging taxi. The breakfast was good and featured bacon and eggs, yoghurts with cereal, many types of breads, fruit, etc. There was a decent coffee machine. The breakfast room was never crowded during my stay and all foods were available all the time. The room was properly air conditioned, which was great advantage since it was typically above 30 degrees outside during my stay. The location was good. Very close to TU Vienna and in an area with many bars and restaurants.
